Guidelines

All abstracts must be submitted through the online submission system above. Abstracts sent by e-mail to the congress organisation or members of the scientific committee will not be considered.

Multiple authorship is possible, but the presentation of two or more posters/short talks by one author is not possible.

Please select your preference for poster or short talk by ticking the respective box in the abstract submission form.

Kindly note that the abstract is only going to be included in the abstract book if the presenting (or corresponding) author is registered to attend the congress.

Formal requirements for abstracts:

  • Abstract title should be limited to 150 characters incl. spaces.
  • The text body of the abstract is limited to 2,500 characters incl. spaces.
  • Please do not subdivide the text body (e.g. into Introduction, Material & Methods etc.).
  • Introduce unusual abbreviations in parentheses.
  • The inclusion of references is optional.
  • Your abstract has to be submitted in form of a single file (*.docx) which should also include title, all authors and associated institutions.
  • Only text – no figures, tables or else.
  • It is recommended to use the provided template.

Reviewing and selection process

All abstracts submitted using our online abstract submission system will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee.

The Scientific Committee reserves the right to reject low-quality abstracts, as well as those which are not pertinent to the topic of the conference.

Abstracts will be selected based on originality, novelty, and impact.

Short Oral Presentations

Short oral presenters have 10 minutes for their presentation, followed by 3 minutes of discussion.

Please use PowerPoint ratio (16:9).

Poster Presentations

Posters should be exhibited throughout the entire conference.

Posters will be presented by the authors on Thursday (June 13) and Friday (June 14) during lunch break.
